6 weeks according to the official site. Flood should start every game up until then, but I can't see him playing the full 90 minutes in all of them.

I thought The Socialist Workers Party were organising an anti-Dolan rally
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

O'Bama - "Eerah yeah, I'd say we can alright!"

    G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

Flood starts tonight. Here's a stream for the match which you can paste into Winamp (Winamp is the only program it will work in and by far the best program for streaming):

Was anyone watching the game? Was he poor or unlucky to be taken off?

Seems a bit harsh on him being thrown straight in after a few months out of the first team, then taken off at half time.

That was a weird one by Keegan, that can only damage Flood's confidence. He didn't get much of the ball but was OK when he had it and sent in a lovely cross to Sibierski who's shot was blocked.

Bolton are very physical and there was a few tackles flying. Willo did not hold back but does not have the strength(yet) to make any impact

Flood was very poor kept losing the ball, looks like another Liam Miller, no strength. Thought Dunne did very well as usual should be in team in Israel seeing that O'Brien is not getting a look in at Newcastle

Condex - Flood lost the ball twice, max (I can only think of one). He's a tiny fella but he's an 19 year old winger, not a 24 year old central midfielder. He got MOM in one of his few starts for City against Norwich and scored a cracker. That match showed how good he is. He also won 3 or 4 FAI underage awards in consecutive years and was the first ever player to do so. It really annoys me to see someone writing "very poor" when he was involved in 2 of City's first half chances, won them a few free's, and tracked back to get the ball a number of times.

Agreed why not wait 15 or so minutes into the second half and then change if he thought it wasn't happening...Why risk damaging Flood's confidence or maybe he thought he would be doin him a benefit..make him stronger and want to fight harder the next time?...didn't see the game but heard the second half...Commentators seemed unsure as to why he was takin off...what are the chances of him starting the next City Game...City we're much better after he had gone anyway...

I missed the whole of the first half and only switched it on during half time only to hear Dion Dublin in the studio say something like "yeah, he looked a bit out of his depth" on hearing the news that City had made a substitution

A cutting remark indeed, lets hope he doesn't let it affect his confidence.

Ive seen enough of Willo Flood at this stage and he is a cracking player. He has oodles of talent and what he lacks in stature is compensated by quick mind and a good eye. The stature will come in time. DOnt write him off on 45 minutes of football. This guy has a huge football and thank God hes Irish.
Who is this guy, Trapper Tony?

Who was the guy who came on near the end? He was very strong on the ball and gave City a lot of impetus going foward for the last 10 mins.

Lee Croft. Another young midfielder, only back from loan with Oldham.
