Well I for one welcome the Open Hour, the return of JoeSoap and the month ban handed out to willie john for expanding his realm of talking complete and utter nonsense to the Cork forum (I suppose it wasn't easy for him here with him making no headway or sense...)
Anyway JoeSoap me old buddy, don't be a stranger, this is surely as good a place as any for you to announce the odd bit of news. Like you just did...
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Can anyone tell me what was the point of the so called "Open hour" yesterday.Ok so I know the players were in a training camp for the weekend but Joe Soap and NOC completely mis-informed the public of their intentions for this gathering. NOC will announce his backroom team and squad for the forthcoming season (did not happen), unveiling the new strip (did not happen)
and details of ther fixtures (didn't happen either). No representitive spoke to the public as a whole. The PRO of the club couldn't even give details of the Shamrock Rovers friendly next Friday.Any question that was asked was either met with "I don't know who told you that" or "don't believe all you read or hear" Both didn't seem to care that people turned up to hear the clubs plans for the future, only to be told nothing of that nature was on the agenda today. If this is how thay intend to gain the fans support in terms of getting them through the turnstiles then IMO they fell a long way short yesterday.

well the supporters club were as usual well orginized i think anyone who was there would agree except it wasnt our place to be the main orginizers. No the club are going to have to do much better then this if they have any gumshion of wanting to look Professional. Over 50 people turned up at short notice, some travelling long distences to see our new hope for the new season, players (able to ans questions) full kitt on display and maybe the management being chatty and friendly with the supporters (in fairness most were friendly but only to individuals if ye get me) in short there was nothing orginized. Only one newspaper turned up, the post and he took a page filler of a photograh that was it, amateur. Kerry blue well done for travelling from ballyb with all YOUR kids there all yours dont be lieing lol![]()
