Andrew Buttimer isn't going to help our cause.
Good chance here I reckon to make the last 8. Same starting 11 I would imagine. We haven't the greatest record against harps though which is worrying

Will we play a second string? Harps might. Game the following week is bigger for them. Might still be for us as well.
Can't see a second string. McDonald is only settling on a team now, would be foolish to go chopping and changing after we scored our first league goal in six years last week.
For anyone who is planning on attending both the back to back Harps games, The Samaritans number is 116 123.
Surely have to go full strength for continuity at least. Another 3 or 4 points should see us safe so a cup run would put a good finish on a dissapointing season.
I'd agree with the last two posts, time to string a few wins together and in no position to pass on the FAI Cup anyway this season.
I'd be upset too, if we made a semi or even got to the final it would put a very welcome complexion on the season if allied to a mid table finish.
Dont concede first and we'll be fine. But expect our attendance to drop over the two games as their physio will spend half an hour on the pitch
Looking at the highlights of the Bohs game, if Limerick were to improve their chances to goal ration by even 10% they'd be flying it. Harps are perfectly beatable, recent results aside, and are more focused on the league than Limerick. With a week between games there's no need for squad rotation.
That, and considering that half of the final 8 will be teams below us in standings/leagues, means we have to give this a full go.
Also a chance for both teams to scout each other out.

Lucky for him Soccer Republic only has an hour.

A repeat of last week's team performance is necessary to prove it wasn't a fluke. If they play with the same vigour and intensity again I'd be very confident of pulling away from the bottom group.
Noel O'Connor joins me again tomorrow for live audio analysis of this...intriguing cup-clash. Tune in to www.mixlr.com/limerick-soccer-live, from 6.25, if you can't make it.
Make sure you give the gramophone handle a good whirling before dispensing your wisdom tomorrow will you ? Very weak and intermittent again there lately O'Brien, ruined my match day experience.
Yeah, I meant to reply to your PM on that. Apologies.
I must say that I've had no other technical complaints, from anyone, in quite some time.
Given the size of our listenership now, I'm sure if there was a problem on that side, we'd hear about it fairly lively.
Could be a problem on your end, I'm afraid.
Anything less than a win here would be sickener. Cup run would rescue a very mediocre season. Plus we don't want to give them any confidence going into next Friday.
Yeah, plenty of far-flung listeners -- including at least one who lives in New York -- without any reported issues so far.
Hopefully, it'll be alright on this particular night.
Harps are shocking. Their players spending more time rolling around the ground than actually playing football.
