Out of action for another 4 weeks (BBC Sport 17 Feb). Hogan came off with a calf injury during the game v Bournemouth on 9 Feb. So, even more unlikely to be included in the squad for the games v Belgium and Lithuania.

A hat trick away to West Brom tonight; five for the season now.
Lot of food for thought up front to be honest.
He'll make the squad tomorrow but don't think Kenny would see him as a starter unless others are injured.
When did we last have a hat-trick scorer at PL or Championship level (or even L1/L2)? Idah in the cup is all that's coming to mind as anything close in recent times. Just curious.
Slightly surprised to see Will Keane didn't score one last season in his haul of 28 goals.
Got his sixth of the season too.
Johnny Walters scored a hat trick back in 2015, a perfect hat trick too. We've probably been lucky to have players scoring goals at the top level since then nevermind getting a hat trick. Robbie Keane and Leon Best the other two players to score a hat trick at PL level.
Ah Leon Best. So much potential
Folding my way into the big money!!!
Is there a list of Irish hat-trick premiership scorers?

Scores again to make it seven.
Having a good season is scott. Still don't think he has had an opportunity to get to grips with international football in a team that doesn't function well, never mind functioning in a way that optimises his output. Be good for him to get a goal or two for ireland in this period though. He has been a willing contributor..
Unfortunately for him Obafemi has come in and scored goals probably only he could dream about. Hogan is a penalty box striker and playing with a front two as we do now would suit him best but probably doesn't offer enough outside the box to get a start.
Don't think Kenny would go with a front two of Hogan and Obafemi, even in a game like Malta or Gibraltar. Might be worth it in a way though to chance them together for Malta. Won't need three work horse midfielders against a Malta and should chance a 3-4-1-2.
Obafemi looked better than Parrott anyway in September at dropping off for the ball so why not partner him with a striker who'll play on the shoulders of the defenders and we've seen that he can play good passes for a striker to attack.
4-5-1
With Obefemi at 10 and Hogan at 9 would work. Away to big teams in particular
