What formation did he play in when he was on Form with Brentford? Is it a case that he’s only prolific in a certain context??

I wouldn't be critical of his performances for us for the same reasons you outline, but I would be concerned if he was chosen ahead of somebody better/more proven (Shane Long) for games* as big as the ones we have coming up.

    (*plural, hopefully)

Jutkiewicz and Hogan are in love. Has Jutkiewicz ever spoken about playing for us? If he's interested his form certainly warrants him being given a chance at some point with him and Hogan banging them in, in my opinion.

Oh yeah, fair point - I think the impact of his recent form has moved him from being in danger of being squeezed out of the squad to being right in contention to be the first forward sprung from the bench

Probably for the best - hopefully he can regain the form he showed in the early part of his loan there - if so, he could yet be an important interim option for us

Second goal in three games for Hogan in 2-1 loss to Barnsley: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/55053251 - he's a bit of a streaky player really, scores a bunch of goals in quick succession but then goes months without finding the net - let's hope he can find form in Spring and compete with James Collins for the "stop-gap" striker role

It was a very tidy goal actually. Confident finish.

Hopefully we can get some friendlies in. Would like a further look at Hogan before WCQ and obviously get Parrott more acquainted with the senior setup.

Another goal today, and getting paeans of praise for the shift he put in on the Birmingham forum I was reading.

A real option for Serbia in a situation when we've struggling for goals.

He also has a considerably better minutes played per goal ratio than James Collins in the Championship this season, despite not being the penalty taker at Birmingham.

He is the best performing Irish striker across the top two divisions in England this season, no question. Now I know that's not necessarily saying much, but he'd have to be in consideration for March at this stage, given how our other options are performing.

He has looked so poor every time has has played for us. I would far prefer Robinson or Long at centre forward.

He's done ok. To be fair, it's hard to judge anyone who played up front for us the past two years as everything being played behind them has been diabolical

He needs a wes or a ditzy, to play him in behind the defense. We currently have neither
