Before I was born too - that's a famous clip though! Thought everyone knew it.

If that one is news to you, I'd highly recommend checking out a series called Match of the 70s hosted by Dennis Waterman. It's on YouTube; it's great stuff.

The 1974 Charity Shield was fiesty stuff too.

There was also the Battle of Santiago which was a pretty famous for it in the 60s…

Then there was one in the 80s, I’ll try find out, which involved an Argentinian player giving what many boxing purist have described as, I think it was, one of the best ever left cross’.

I could be misremembering at it’s one of the Chileans during the battle of Santiago but I think separate

Yes I was aware of it but I guess I meant modern era. Since Premiership like. And all the Sky money flooded in

Neil Harris (Millwall) admits that he is keeping an eye on Molumby, as the Lions squad needs to be strengthened - and of course Molumby hasn't had the happiest time recently at WBA.
    (Birmingham Express and Star, today).

Booked for an overzealous challenge, scores, and is then taken off with an injury.

Seems to be a head injury, so may still be available to fill that b*****d role.

We may have to remove that word from the swear filter.
You can't spell failure without FAI

After 125 appearances for West Brom (7 goals), Molumby has signed a contract extension which runs until the summer of 2028. (wba.co.uk/news)

Glad to see they rate him enough at WBA to give him another deal. They might be able to sneak into the playoffs but I'm not sure how a promotion would effect his career.+ Reply to Thread

Similar to Cullen at Burnley I think it would mean playing a reduced role in a losing team. Playing weekly at a good championship team is maybe in a way the best thing for him.

Sent off tonight to add another red card to his list of accolades. Bristol went on to win the game so he'll be shouldering the responsibility for the loss.

It's this stuff that has him down the pecking order for me. His 13th card this season. There's been no real effort to improve this part of his game

That's a lot of cards in today's soccer. He has to get cute-er.
