Livermore being captain he was always going to start. Manager even emphasised that before the game. Surprised Molumby didn't start in midfield with him though. Fulham are the better team and have three in midfield, thought Molumby with how lively he is would get the nod ahead of 34yr old Snodgrass.
A bit depressing that Robinson is not getting picked as well. Our star man bench warming in The Championship…..
Hugill wasn't getting dropped after scoring twice. Snodgrass with a lovely assist for Fulham's second goal with that back pass.
Strikers like form I guess.
Would have been nice for him to build on Azerbaijan/Qatar to have some momentum coming into two trickier games
Starts tonight in the absence of Livermore. Robinson starts too.
Hopefully both will get a fairer crack of the whip under Bruce.
O'Shea and Brown on the benches which is good on both fronts.
"Jayson Molumby will be an Albion player next season" is a really unhelpful headline with Brighton and West Brom are the two clubs involved...
Confirmation that Molumby's loan to West Brom has been made permanent

"Molumby's done," Bruce revealed when asked about the player's future after the stalemate. "Molumby was done weeks ago. The deal was kicked in weeks ago, so he's our player now."
The talk of premiership clubs was premature. If he was that well regarded why would Brighton let him go? And why would he be going to a mid-lower championship team? Must be what's seen as his level by those paid professionally in football.
I'm a bloke,I'm an ocker
And I really love your knockers,I'm a labourer by day,
I **** up all me pay,Watching footy on TV,
Just feed me more VB,Just pour my beer,And get my smokes, And go away
If they're smart they will. Has said himself he's staying on and only has a year left on his contract. They'd be off their game to give him money to spend this summer so it's gonna be loan signings to improve a squad that he's taken from 5th to 13th. O'Shea is out of contract next summer so hopefully he holds off on signing anything for awhile to see how next season goes.
If Molumby hadn't got those knee injuries which kept him out for 15 months be interesting to see where his career would be right now. Hughton had given him his debut, had him on the bench in the league for a few games, flying it as captain with the U19s and then misses the next 15 month after injuring his knee twice. Went to Millwall a few months after coming back and played well that season but things have been meh since then.
Going by that Bruce might get them out of the division next year ( The old ones are the best )
Bruce is an average manager and it takes a good to very good manager to get a team up to the premier league these days and probably with more modern coaching as well.
Molumby to me is in the mold of Mark Kinsella or Matt Holland. Both didnt really become regular Premiership or international players until later in their 20s.
Molumby will probably be a good pro like those 2 and have a good career but hes not the top class player some of us thought he could be for while
At Molumbys age Kinsella was playing at Colchester. Holland was being loaned out to Farnbourough. We are too quick to write off young players some times. Id be delighted if Molumby becomes as good as even Lee Carsley never mind the other 2 mentioned. He has time and has shown glimpses that he is capable of it.
