    Spurs Poll

Just seen a poll on "Who's most likely to leave Totenham next season?" on TeamTalk in which Robbie Keane's the clear favourite at 42%.

Some people obviously see his future elsewhere!! He is a bankable asset though after a good season so far (according to goals per game anyway).

    What do you's think??

I tend to agree with NeilMcD's view that Jol wants 4 strikers at Spurs and at the moment there's no absolute pecking order. They'd get a lot more money for Defoe though. Kanoute is erratic and despite a good early showing it's hard to say how Mido will pan out.

I think Spurs is a good place to be for a young Irish player at the moment and I hope Robbie stays put. I doubt any of the bigger clubs would want him and Spurs could well become "best of the rest". If Jol goes the Ajax though...

It's an absolute dead cert, according to sources within Spurs.

That'd be a pity (even coming from an Arsenal fan). I think the young Irish at Spurs are in good hands under Jol. I also think the Premiership could do with a decent Spurs side as they've been an irrelevance for a long long time now.

It might even show Wenger that young Irish players are worth investing in.

Well he's on £40,000 stg a week, 18 months left on his contract and not the first choice striker. Although Jol wants 4 strikers he might be tempted to sell Keano for about £4m and get someone in on half the money. Or Robbie will take a pay cut, lol.

Spurs only pay Keane £25k, Leeds pay the other 15k.

Similar situation with Robbie Fowler, and Michale Ricketts, who's just left Leeds for Stoke.

I wish I'd sent my CV to Leeds a few years ago. Ridsdale must have been on drugs awarding those contracts.

My favourite Ridsdale one is Seth johnson - superstar - signed from Derby - told agent he wanted £15K per week - agent thought it would be pretty tough but went into negotiation anyway.

Ridsdale's opening bid was £30K per week - however upon seeing stunned silence from agent came back quickly with - OK £36K per week final offer.

Can't he be sued by his shareholders for that type of negligence?

Is Johnson still there? Wasn't he the answer to England's left-sided problem?
