cotter got a minute as a sub for Ipswich today and McLoughlin was on bench wonder if McLoughlin will get new contract?

U23 season is pretty much done at this point but two Irish players will be playing in the Premier League Cup final as an Aston Villa side that featured Jack Clarke and Jake Doyle-Hayes defeated Leicester 3-2 AET with Clarke scoring the opener: https://www.avfc.co.uk/News/2018/04/...2-3-villa-u23s

Frustrating season for Doyle Hayes involved heavily preseason then not even an appearance on the bench in league.

Still only 19 and just finished his first full season at U23 level so I wouldn't worry too much about it - he's still well on track. That said, he should be looking to get first-team football next year, perhaps on loan.

Clarke scored the winning penalty for Villa after the PL Cup final ended 0-0

Roache who is under 19 for us next season on bench for Blackpool today think that is first time in league this season

McLoughlin got 20 minutes today for debut in league wonder if he will get new contract at Ipswich. See ogbene got 15 mins for Bradford and field was back on bench wonder if either of those 2 will play for us?

Looks like Shane McLoughlin could have a bright future at Ipswich. I had wondered why his goal to game ratio was down as I assumed he was still playing up front. Looks like he's playing in midfield mostly.
