Finn Harps 1-2 Athlone Town in the semi-final played at Bonagee United yesterday evening.
Amazing how Athlone managed to win. Harps were miles the better side but squandered a host of chances. Around 250 people there to watch it too.

Question: With U15 League of Ireland now finished for some teams
1) Players can go back to their clubs until new season begins?
2) If so has anyone an idea of what dates they can play from and up to?
3) I assume they cannot take part in National Cups as they've already played national competition with League of Ireland clubs, Is this correct?

SSE Airtricity U15 League Final
25/11/2017
Athlone Town 2-1 Saint Patrick's Athletic
An injury time winner secured the inaugural U15 League title for Athlone with a 2-1 win over St. Patrick's Athletic.
The Saint took the lead on 10 minutes through Athlone native Kyle Conway. Some good saves from Town 'keeper Sean O'Toole kept the scoreline 0-1 at the break.
An improved performance from Athlone in the second half saw them equalise in the 64th minute; Dylan Gavin hitting home the rebound after the Pats' keeper got his hands to his spotkick.
Then in injury time, Town's top scorer, Gavin, struck again to seal the win in front of the biggest crowd of the season at any Athlone Town game.
It was a cruel end for the visitors as they dominated periods of the game, but Town came back strongly in the second half, and were rewarded for not giving up.
