Newmarkets win away from v St,Micheals very impressive, anyone have a report on it?Good result for Pike albeit against a B team from the Waterford league who have surpassed themselves on this run.

LOL,...certainly need to sign someone as the present manager has decided to dispense with the services of many players leaving the squad very small..tbf results have been good despite this.

All Limerick final to look foward to after Janesboro,s last ditch win today ,tough on Newmarket losing in injury time especially as they had good chance before Boro,s winner. Not a classic Boro on top first half,Celtic in the second, strong wind did not help.

Curious lads, what's your opinion on the location of the final being dependent on where the two teams are from?
While I agree that it would be a bit of a nuisance dragging Pike and Janesboro to Turner's Cross, but wouldn't having it on there every year create a bit of buzz around getting to the final? E.g. the excitement of getting to the final of the FAI and getting to play in the Aviva.
    Just a thought.

It’s a great idea, gives the competition some real prestige.

But you’d always get the same complaints about being dragged to Cork to play your near neighbors.
    Ha?

Should have it on in Clounreask in Askeaton home of the Desmond League. Where both teams never play on it and only out the road from the city. You'd get more people from the Desmond League going into watch it too

Great result for pike after losing the fai on penos to turn it around and win. Boros top players can't produce it in the big games a very average performance considering the depleted pike side.

Great result for Pike ,showed lots of character after defeat last week. Not the greatest of finals but not the worst either Pike played better in the first half ,the second half more even.Fair play to Daly took guts to do what he did. While some of Janesboro,s top players did put in poor performances that is not usual in big games though ultimely it probably cost this final ,the same happened Pike last week as several of their top performers didnt do it v a depleted Northend.Fine crowd present and a good night for it.
