Sligo/Leitrim, Roscommon & Mayo through in Connacht
Result from today: Wexford League 4, Mayo League 0. Played in New Ross.
West Cork 2 Limerick DL 3,A win for Limerick though West Cork will be surely pleased with their efforts.
Clarke with two, Rainsford with the winner.
Cheers lads
Clare DL 2 Limerick DL 1.AET...away side went 1up...home side levelled with about 20 mins left, winner in extra time..Lights went out in extra time with the home side 2-1 up.Came back on again and game finished.Limerick did quite well given the squad they had out though a few players looked unfit.Clare the better team though Limerick had their chances...but how Limericks top scorer stayed on the bench until extra time beyond belief. Some fine performers in the Clare team, about 150 there.
The classic game of 2 halves in Carlow last night for the Carlow v Wexford quarter final.
Wexford 3-0 up at the break and Carlow come back and win 4-3!
Quarter Finals
Carlow 4 Wexford 3
Clare v Dublin AUL
Sligo/Leitrim v Kerry
Kilkenny v Defence Forces or Inishowen
I fancy Cork AUL to give it a real go this year anyone agree
oh wait. They`re not in it
Numerous other leagues are also not involved, not easy to find managers for Oscar Traynor squads.
I know of at least 5 prem or prem A level managers in cork who would jump at the chance
Here’s a novel idea. Grow a pair.
Ha?
There's a sniff of an appeal in Limerick, Clare player’s international clearance being called into question.
The old ‘if you can’t beat them on the pitch, trawl through everything you can find to beat them in the appeals hearing’ approach. Classic Limerick.
Ha?
