Hard luck to carrig lads.. crazy decision by management committee having a blanket call off tomorrow... most pitches will be playable and there is no frost like last wknd which caused call off late Sunday morning... a mad decision..
Great effort by Carrig today only bowing out on pens after 4-4 draw in Ballymun.

Wasn’t there rumours of him falling out with rovers at the start of the season, pretty sure I heard he was joining Rathkeale at the start of the season.
Is it true twouptop that Abbey have an objection against ye for playing an illegal player or someone against them and have gone to the Munster council where they are confident of getting the 3 points awarded to them?
I wouldn't know, I've no connection with the club that you are thinking of!
I heard glin played a player signed with Kerry in league of Ireland but it was league that took action on it and Abbey did not object in the end.. also heard it was leagues fault they played player as they had asked the question to committee..that info came from Abbey camp over xmas..
If the game was played after December 1st and his transfer went in on time they're ok. If the game took place before December 1st then Abbeyfeale will get the points.
Players playing underage national league can transfer on the 1st December and must be back for mid January not sure on the date but somewhere around there.
Yes that is my understanding of rule also but not sure when game was played.have Abbey not got one or two lads playing with Kerry also... looking like another blanket call off this wk after crazy call off last wknd..
Going by the website they played on 19th of November so looks like abbey will be awarded the points? If so, their win away to rathkeale looks huge for their title chances.
Yeah agree with another blanket call off. Last weekend would have been okay for a lot of fields but this weekend with the rain that is falling I can’t see any going ahead. Clubs won’t want to ruin their fields. Some clubs haven’t played since November/start of December and if the weather keeps up will be over 2 months without a game. We might see a lot of Friday and Sunday game this season than usual.
My understanding is that the player was playing with Kerry U17’s, their season had finished and they were therefore entitled to sign him as a free agent. I don’t think there is anything in this other than Abbey sulking over not getting the win. It’s really disappointing to see a club of abbeys stature appeal this kind of decision
MUNSTER YOUTH CUP
Quarter-Final Draw
St Brendan's Park v Ballingarry
Dungarvan Utd or Pike Rvs v Fermoy or Clonmel Celtic
Douglas Hall v College Corinthians or Broadford Utd
Avenue Utd v Fairview Rgs
Games to take place on or before 3rd / 4th February 2018.
Winnable tie for Ballingarry but trickier route for Broadford.
Any truth that all games are off the wknd with exception of Munster junior??
Killarney celtic 5 Bgarry2, killarney were up 3 0 at one stage.. poor show from bgarry.
7-2 it finished..
They are, they weren't expected to get through but wouldn't have expected to concede 7 either. Better news for Broadford Youths who defeated College Corinthians on penalties to advance to the quarter finals of the Munster Youths Cup and an away tie v Douglas Hall.
Desmond cup draw was tonight anyone get it

Rathkeale away to Rathkeale B is probably the only real interesting tie of the first round
That Ballingarry result wasn't great thought they'd at least compete, can't imagine they'd be too happy after the apparent investment that has been made into their squad...!!
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YA BEAUTY! What a hit son... what a hit!
