Meant the without known bit that they give different people different outcomes on a match, without the other person known that they’re telling each person to gamble on a different outcome, where eventually one will win then come back and offer more money. When people hand over money they think they’re onto a winner, they don’t realize they’ve just been scammed. The lucky few will get a return but the majority won’t. I always find it hard to believe how people truly believe a Facebook page will give you a fixed match outcome for a low amount.

So who is brave enough to take the managers job - comeback for Roddy or is life as Bray manager to much turmoil even for him?

Isnt he coaching under age side at UCD these days? You might have a better idea Stu. Im not sure if he has his pro licence either tbh. Still he'd be a good choice if he was willing though i'd doubt there will be too many interested.

From an article last Sept Maciej Tarnogrodzki clarifies that he couldn't take up the Bray job on a full-time basis previously because of the absence of Pro-Licence.

    Presumably not a barrier now

In Ireland, he worked initially with Shelbourne’s Under-15s, then joined Bray Wanderers’ underage set-up before briefly taking the first team in 2015.
He added: “I didn’t have a Pro Licence so I couldn’t manage full-time but I’m now on the course with the Irish FA in Belfast.
“It is a good group and there is a lot of Premier League experience — people like Harry Kewell, Benni McCarthy and Hermann Hreidarsson are on the course.
“I couldn’t get on the Pro Licence with the FAI but I’m happy with the course I am on, it is a very good course.”

Tony Cousins would bite your hand off for the Job. Not that it will do Bray or him any good.

If he now has his pro licence he'd be hard to look past by the Bray owners. Though things at Bray dont make much sense these days. Unrelegatables saved by Maciej ....Limerick and Sligo beware

A real lost cause for Russell if he was to take it, presumably they'd want him with a mind to get promoted in 2019.

    Lost cause ??
If they beat Dundalk on Friday and Rovers on Monday they could be level with Sligo with 25 games to go in the season, plenty of time for a push for Europe.

I'm joking obviously but they are 6 points off Sligo and have some decent players.
The biggest problem is clearly motivation, if Russell can give them a reason why they should be trying then maybe they might start doing it...

How long can the people funding this be bothered keeping the show on the road might be the most relevant thing ?

Employing Roddy can sometimes feel like the start of a final farcical act on the way to complete implosion of a club.

Would probably still take him ahead of Russell all the same.

Bray Wanderers have appointed Graham Kelly as caretaker manager for the foreseeable future. Graham has been a member of the coaching staff since 2016.We would like to thank Graham for taking on this difficult task at short notice

I think the gap between Bray and the rest is big enough in playing terms. Limerick are very poor this season, and could be considered the closest to Bray in terms of quality (notwithstanding how the table looks currently), and Bray barely threatened them in the MF. The consistent nature of their results (like how they conceded more goals against ten men than 11 in Derry) would indicate significant problems that won't be easily overcome. We all know one of those might be timely payment of wages, and players who aren't sure when they are getting paid aren't motivated. In similar circumstances in his last full PD season with Limerick, Russell only turned things around when the club brought in more players mid-season, and even that wasn't enough.

Replacing with an internal appointment smacks of not being prepared to pay a manager like Russell or Collins.
If the moneymen have made that call I doubt there is much road left.

There’s a worrying infiltration of Graham Kellys in the league now.

Can we be sure it's not all the same person?
