He did say, in fairness, that he and Gary Cronin were both of the view that you needed a few experienced players along with the young lads.
From a Bray supporters perspective I suppose its better than going bust but unless I'm wrong (which I hope I am) Bray will be fully amateur next year and anchored to the bottom of the first division with Joeys going on in a business as usual way.
The current Joeys 19's are brutal so they will have to find players.
The PR spin out of Bray at the moment is superb but I would be fearful as to how long it lasts.
At best I reckon they will be on a par with Cabo.
If I'm wrong about the fully amateur bit that will be fantastic because with a half dozen pros stiffened by young talent they could be a competitive team in division 1 which is needed as we already have one Zombie team there

Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

O Driscoll was on the LOI weekly podcast saying people saying it would be fully amateur and run like a schoolboy club were wrong so maybe I am being to cynical.
Fantastic if he follows though in any kind of meaningful way , the last thing we need is another zombie club in the first division.
