Southampton are reportedly pursuing Shamrock Rovers' 19-year-old Trevor Clarke: https://www.thesun.ie/sport/football...trevor-clarke/
Clarke, an Ireland under-19 international, played at youth level for Middlesbrough, but has really impressed for Shamrock Rovers since returning to Ireland in 2015. Barnsley are also thought to be keeping tabs on him.Originally Posted by Neil O'Riordan

It was a "goal of the month" nominee on Soccer Republic.
His goal against Cork (also last month) in Turners Cross was nominated as well. It can be viewed here from 1m40s: https://twitter.com/SoccRepublic/sta...38397100658688
Love the anecdote in this article where he was willing to fight an army sergeant who swore at him in preseason training. Also, is Michael O 'Connor who is mentioned in this article any good?

Bradley used this quote when departing "He definitely has the qualities, it's just a lot else has to fall into place." dunno if he's hinting at something. But, seemed like a nice grounded kid the one time I met him.
It was interesting that in the home game against Brann he was an unused sub, but when the final whistle went he genuinely seemed annoyed that he wasn't included while everyone else was celebrating like mad.
It's most likely that they were not using him cause they didn't want to lose the fee - but at the time, I felt it looked like an example of how resolute and single minded he is. Anyway, he has a real chance...
Interesting move. Though he could have got a better one but he should get plenty game time at that level.
Resolute individual is right. Isn't he a boxer too?

I don't think Bradley meant anything other than to be a success in England you need lots to go in your favour, luck with Managers who like/ dislike you, luck with injuries (great feckin start today) and just being able for it in general , not to mention that another player comes in in your position.
He was really liked at Rovers.
Phew , great "ish" news
such a decent kid he deserves a chance
Not ideal but relieving all the same. If he had signed for a better side to whom the fee wouldn't have been a concern (e.g. a Championship side) then he may have had an issue getting back in. Rotherham will be as keen to include him as he will be to be included.
The quotes from his manager make it seem like less than 6: Relief for Trevor Clarke after injury fears threatened to spoil his return to England https://the42.ie/4748870
Made his championship debut yesterday against Swansea, playing 45 minutes off the bench... positive development for him
Doesn't Clarke play for Rotherham?
Starts tonight on the left wing away to QPR.
