It will be whatever the PCA decides. Which is completely and utterly mental, but there it is.
#NeverStopNotGivingUp
Correct I should have said 6 of this year's 12 relegated in two years.....I suppose if it was 3 up and all 3 came back up you could make a case that it's the same as this year.....
Think 3 is to many though
If we (United) go down, will Keegan be the first manager to be relegated 2 seasons in a row
Cork have been playing under pressure for the last while, your best hope is a different team showing up at pats.....I still think for everything I've seen its kinda mad Galway are where they are.
Believe me I know it !!
The draw last night has worked out very well for Pat's, who now have Cork at home on Friday and ourselves away next week.
I suppose we still have third place to play for, but you'd wonder how motivatied that would make our squad.
zero motivation to be 3rd or 4th when there is nothing on it.
I suppose you could argue it is progress for either team but its a bit like the 3rd and 4th place play off in the world cup at this stage.
Although I think it is worth a whole 5k in prize money
Roll on next season
Can't find odds on teams to avoid relegation anywhere sadly. I'd like to know what odds I can get on wasting a tenner on Harps..
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
Bad enough weather forecast for Friday night, especially in the west. Been to Markets Field few times since it re-opened, mostly during decent weather, but it is a very exposed pitch and Derry dropped 2 pts there earlier this year which you could put down to lack of shelter from the elements. Pats seem to be getting all the luck recently, so maybe this weekend Galway might get a few wind assisted goals and 3 points.
It's a whole 10k even! Kerching!
Shiels mentioned fairness, playing professionally to be fair to other teams involved in the relegation battle. He's got point, I suppose.
I'd like Harps to stay up mind, so that's reason enough to hope for wins against Sligo and Pat's. Would at least give them some chance.
Think Pats will stay up personally. I actually have a feeling a point would do them as I cant see Galway & Sligo getting the results to overtake them. At the end of the day it would take both leapfrogging Pats & I just cant see that happening. I fully expect Pats to obtain safety when they bt Cork (no way will cork get anything resembling a performance this weekend) & expect Galway to get a draw at best.
Question will Bray survive and get a license ?
Anything is possible but I expect them to be in devision 1 next year
Don't see any reason at present why Bray would be Div 1. What their budget is next season is another question. (He said obviously)
