Shield ran last year for all the teams that didn't qualify for the League knockout stages.
What has happened to the Under 19 and Under 17 Cups?
The First Round fixtures escaped via the Herald Striker, to the best of my recollection. The Second Round seems to have been communicated to clubs (fixtures on braywanderersfc.ie, for example)
They were never posted to media by FAI or SSE Airtricity League. The latter doesn't provide for them on its website, and neither does Extra Time. Junior Soccer Portal also seems to ignore them.
And neither was actually identified as before, Enda McGuill Cup (U19) and Mark Farren Cup (u17). Provision was made in the season fixture lists in each case for a "League Cup", but not named!
As a kind of footnote, provision was also made in the season fixture lists for a Shield in each age group. Anyone know what's going on there?

I found the Mark Farren 2nd Round in the Examiner, eventually, but none of the papers had the Enda McGuill (most of the club sites that mentioned either got the names wrong!!).
Only one site had the full draw.
Both are here, together with the results of the first rounds, as far as I have been able to find them.
Still nothing from the FAI or SSE!
