Am I right in saying that none of these 3 have signed this season?
If you don't like John 3:7...
    There's always Limerick 37!

Ok my computer is causing difficulty so I hope that this does not provide problems for anyone but basically the club announced it had signed the four Kerry lads a while ago but now it seems that we have let Sugue go which I am very disappointed about considering the effort he put in last season and the improvement he was starting to show. Now it seems that Conway is not going to be with us as well so it would nice if the club official spokesman let us knew what the hell is going on. As for Molan he is suppose to be signing for us again which is good because he is versatile although I do believe his best position is left back especially when Kulsten is gone. As for John Whyte I have heard no mention about him and we can only speculate about his future but the way things are going it does not seem as if he will be with us for the new season. Is that good or bad? I think John should be involved at some level because of the influence he has as well as his ability to motivate players
Limerick 37, its so shiny and new we dare not take the cover off.

I didn't intend this post to launch another go at the club.

I had no expectation that John Whyte would be playing this season. I think he has something to offer and has been a brilliant asset for the club down the years. I'm not sure he can still offer as much at this stage of his career, so I thought (only my opinion - not through talking to anyone involved) that he would not be around. Its up to NOC to appoint whoever he wants as caoching staff, which shouldn't be second guessed by the fans.

Conor I presumed had signed - he is a good player. I haven't been as impressed as other fans by him - I think he is good but not great. But he isa vital part of teh squad because of his versatility.

I really liked Dave Conway's performances as the season wore on - he is a fine player. I would be sorry if he didn't sign. He was particularly impressive down in Cobh at the cup match.

It seems clear now - and has for some time - that Jamesie is not signing. I'm surprised Nempton that he impressed you so much last season considering he was injured for so long. He is a fine player and I think he and Stephen down the right side is a really strong partnership. But he seems to have rejected terms on offer. Seems strange that he would have agreed to sign (if he did) without asking what the wages would be. Have a club in Kerry offered more subsequently? Again I have no information - just asking to see what might be behind it. The management have to decide what they are willing to pay. If a player says no that is their perogative. The club should not then change their offer - it would start every other player looking for more as well and the planned wage structure breaks down.

I was told that John Whyte has signed with Fairview this year. Dunno how accurate that is. Sad to see him go because he did well last year but naturally he is a little past his peak now. Might have been a good impact player to bring on if you're defending a lead with 20 minutes to go but John might not have been keen in €50 a week either. Who knows?
The ball is round and has many surprises.

At the start of the season Sugrue was one of a few players who played with any bit of heart, he was played out of position but he adapted ok and it was unfortunate that he got seriously injured. I saw improvement in his play in comparison to his debut season. Actually I always thought he had the making of a very good fullback especially when he played there against Cobh away one night. Like you LFCIE I would like to get clarity on the issue because I'm just curious to know what happened. I would have imagined that Sugrue would have been eager to get started playing football again when out for so long, so wouldn't imagine he would have been too concerned with wages.

As for coaching staff I've just heard that Noel has an assistant manager, I think the name is Aiden Ryan who previously managed Prospect and Limerick Oscar Traynor teams, I'm sure someone here can elaborate more or correct me if I'm wrong. It would have been good to retain John though in some capacity but if he is going playing with Fairview then the best of luck to him.

    ..

I think a Pat Whelan is the goal keeping coach this year. Big man! Also id want that in concrete that the LDMC is entering an under 21 team, Limerick Fc are entering this year and if UL are there already then what your saying is 3 teams from Limerick? I hope the LDMC come on board with the Limerick team next season. The club are looking for sponsors for the programme now so if any of you have any money or know of persons wanting to advertise then send me a pm and ill forward to relivent person.

I'm afraid I don't know anything about this guy but it is a shame that we lost Kevin Fitzpatrick. I'm just after finding out that Kevin is now with Cork City, which is a good move for him. Kevin is a very good coach and during matches a good communicator. Unfortunately those now involved with the club and who are fellow posters did not seem to think highly of him for whatever reason they had. I guess as well NOC would want to bring in his own staff that he would like to work with. I wonder will their wages be disclosed to us like Kevin's last season when certain people were desperate for any excuse to slag Mike and him off (Sorry, I couldn't resist that little dig )

Don't know why Sugrue didn't sign again but I do know he is now playing with Lisselton Rovers. Apparently played his first game with them last Sunday
