Just doing not very much at all here, though it's cold and clear so we may have some snow later I suppose.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

Woke up this morning to a totally white scene outside my window.
3 or 4 cm of snow covering the entire place.
Some nasty men were out gritting the roads, killing all the snow.

About an inch in from an tochar, roads not too bad (unfortunately - I was looking forward to a day off to play in the snow!) by the time I was leaving. Bit slushy in places but that was about it. Snowing again as I left the mountains though

N4 Longford to Mullingar was given particular attention on Roadwatch this morning - was it bad?

there was a bit of snow around the bishopstown area this morning.. just a efw flakes but enough to make me scream "IT'S SNOWING" at everyone in the office
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?
