I heard it too, he was going through the papers and the mirror had reported on the thread to have a silent protest at the game. He asked people who were on their way to the game to ring in and give their point of view, and for anyone who was involved in organising this silent protest to ring in and explain why they were doing this.
Blew it all out of proportion, he made it sound like there was a mass protest organised by the board.
Foot.ie was mentioned in both the Mirror and The Sun yesterday.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
Not the paper but at least 3 members of foot.ie were on the 6.1 news today and they also showed the foot.ie flag aswell.

Downloading now. Unfortunately I need to download the whole show and clip it, it'll be a couple days before I get that done as I have to go to Cork tomorrow.
To see it in the meantime (before 6pm tomorrow), click here, then on Watch The Show on the right-hand side, then scroll down to Football: Ireland continue Euro 2008 campaign and click on the clip marked Tony O'Donoghue, Sports Editor, reports on Ireland's Euro 2008 qualifier against San Marino.

Downloading, thanks. I grabbed direct from the stream, but it came through a tad screwed up. I won't get a chance to convert until tomorrow either way.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Peader has got a mention in todays Star.
As Irishmen we dilute our sense of nation by depending on the English to bring us our balls
