Could go either way really, no doubt dundalk have been the best team in the second half of the season. Obviously we have struggled in the final third since Maguire left but we still have enough about us to cause them problems. Form can go out the window in one off games like this.

Utterly impossible to call. If the last two finals are anything to go by, both teams will have good spells and the winner will be the one who takes their chance.

Just a quick update from the game on Tuesday.
David Webster has a broken foot and is out until the end of the season. He probably did it trying to kill poor Chris Shields's.
And pico lopes got a broken nose as well. Which was nice.

If you want the best 8/11 shot I have seen in while take Shams tonight v us, .... just seen 1.92 on Betfair , wow , where are they getting that from.

Out of interest, who qualifies for Europe for the cup if Derry come third, is it Shams or Limerick?

It's just karma mate, hatchet men getting injured trying to injure people. Good job your season is over 👍

Nobody qualifies through the cup it goes to the league. Rovers now guaranteed Europe because of that after tonight's games

I think the point would be dundalk fans wanted mcallister hung drawn and quartered when he "ended shiels' season" but both of those, one that has actually ended a players season, seem to have been ignored

Hung, drawn, qartered and then burnt at the Square in Dundalk you mean! A red card for a filthy tackle would have sufficed nicely. Nobody has claimed that the injuries to any Shams players were anything to do with dangerous foul play. Could have been inoccuous collisions that turned out to be unfortunate, nothing more. How'd the tidy up duties in SDCC Stadium go - any mystery gifts left???

It takes about 10 days or so for these stories to be formulated

Asterix is off racking his brain to come up with something, he's gone quiet after accusing O'Donnell of headbutting Bradley.

Closing the toilets was an interesting solution to the so called incident. Sums the club up

Unfair - don't you know it was the council that closed the toilets. According to a steward it was closed due to a plumbing problem that spread to the ladies toilets during the match. Presumably the efficient council had it sorted out for visiting Sligo fans last night?

Those pesky stewards really should have had their stories straight as I was told by one that the toilets were closed as a security measure.

Portaloos on standby too - especially efficient by SDCC!

Genuinely disappointed with this guy's. I thought we'd agreed we had *******s following both teams. Sdcc closed the toilets and restricted visiting fans as a result of what had gone on before. Simple as that...what on earth do you think they were bringing in portaloos for if not to make a point. Don't defend the indefensible it lowers you to the level of your lowest individuals.
