Tickets are sold. People use those valid tckets, do terms and conditions include these circumstances to remove a person. Any time such things have happened fans holding tickets for the home end are put seated near the away section and if there is space in the away section they are allowed in that area.
Holders of tickets are only permitted entry subject to the stadium regulations which includes the following.
m. Any person who has entered any part of the stadium designated for the use of any group of supporters to which they do NOT belong may be ejected from the stadium for the purposes of their own safety or any other reason
That was also meant to happen in Cardiff last night, looked like hundreds of Irish fans sitting all over the place apart from behind the goal we defended in the second half.
Any Dlk fan in colours and singing etc going to the home end will prob not get in, no colours and quietly walk in and sit down, a little harder to spot.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
Ireland fans don't have an, alleged, history of doing ****s in the stands of the Cardiff city stadium or a history of wrecking the place that might cause the stadium operators to want them out.
Normally I'd be fine with away fans being in the home end once they keep quiet, i had a bitta banter with a pats fan sat beside me a few years ago, or if there were to be something done to them id be for them being moved and not removed but the way dundalk fans have acted recently and last time a few of them were in the home end a couple of years ago im leaning more towards the ejection strategy this time round.
HT 1-1 in Tallaght. Probably a fair scoreline really, it's got a bit scrappy towards the end.
On another note, Rovers/SDCC have decided to close the men's toilets in the away end and put in portaloos. Disgrace really. Before anyone slates Oriel's facilities, we know they are poor. But deliberately closing toilet facilities is a disgrace.
Wtf. Both benches going for each other, all the players from both teams running to get involved. Utter madness.
3-2 Dundalk against the run of play in 2nd half of injury time.
Great chanting by Rovers fans there ; " He rose from the dead, He rose from the dead, Chris Shields, He rose from the dead,. " I thought his season was done? Dundalk just score a 3rd, MacMillan gets his second. Rovers have it all to do again now. Was hard to tell from stream what happened with the schemozzle on the touchline...no one getting sent off, but 2 players each look to have been booked.
Dundalk and Cork have clearly outgrown the LOI. Should move to the SPL.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
They thinks it's all over....it is now 2-4.O'Donnell.
Ah well next season 😀
Bradley tried to stop a dundalk player taking a quick throw in, kicked it off. Cost rovers all the momentum they had, they looked like they were going to score. 7 minute scrap later, gone. Well done Bradley, just after your talk about having to be more disciplined.
Can't see anything other than a Dundalk win in the final.Congratulations in advance.
