Yeah, here you go.I think Athlone are focusing on the getting their ground built so there's not much money to invest in a team. Long term it's a good policy but I don't expect much in the way of trophies for a while - hope I'm wrong about that as I really love the club and wish I was well enough to go to matches. I really miss the games in Mel's - fcuk that Golden Island park crack.

Around 6,000 all seater capacity AFAIK. I think the club have spent around one million thus far and I believe they hope to be in situ next year or so. The pitches are laid and fundraising is going well. ATFC on line and ASH would know a millions times more than I would TBH as they're involved. The ground is located very close to the by pass and beside the Sports Centre which should make it very accessible. Tenders were out a good while ago for the first of the stands - don't know what happened there - must check the ATFC website.
