Well, we can just watch from the motorway, or the dogtrack car park then.

Though it does surprise me if this is played behind closed doors, as i woud have thought it would be a nice oppurtunity to earn a few quid. I doubt m/any would baulk at paying €5 entry.

Who is wanting this to be played behind closed doors anyways?

Its an agreement between the club and the BIshopstown pitch owners! The story is at corkcityfc.ie

    Probably for insurance reasons.

I'd say the stand isn't in great nick so they don't want someone breaking a limb and claiming compo.
    I'm what? I'm ants at a picnic?

City already play u-21 games with supporters so can't see how that could be a reason...

I'm assuming that they are just saying it to limit the number of people that turn up i.e. they don't want 1000 people coming into crumblin Bishopstown but if a small crowd turns up like for U21 games it'll be ok.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Did they mention a kick-off time (not that I'd go or anything)
