browne will hopefully get good game time in our march friendlies.
After a slow start to the season, former League of Ireland favourite Horgan is finding his rhythm at Preston http://the42.ie/3787756

They've levelled away to Millwall. Assist from Cunningham. Apparently the ball was so good that Robinson (eligible) only had to chest it in.
Hard to know how true it is or isn't but The Sun saying Horgan, Boyle, O'Connor and Doyle are all outside the present managers plans.

Preston have signed Man City under 23 winger Brandon Barker on loan for the rest of the season. Daryl Horgan and Graham Burke started on the bench in their win over QPR at the weekend, with Horgan coming on. Callum Robinson started and finished the match. As did Alan Browne and he also scored the only goal of the match.
Horgan has been there a while now and with no sign of nailing down a starting birth. He's actually 26 this week so he hasn't exactly made much progress there since joining at the age of 24.
Incidentally, Ryan Manning came on for QPR on the 46th minute.
Yes I have been a little disappointed with how Horgan has got on at Preston. Thought he was one of the best prospects to leave the LOI in recent years. If someone asked who wouldve had the better impact in the Championship, Maguire or Horgan I wouldve without question gone for Horgan. Would appear to be a big season for him.
3 of the front 4 for Preston are Irish today at home to Bolton. Robinson, Browne and Burke starting and Robinson opened the scoring after 11 minutes.
Alan Browne made it 2-0. Pressure on for Burke.
Robinson's goal & Browne's absolute screamer here-
Preston's Irish contingent have been 'in the wars' recently. However, Sportsmole reports today (24 Dec) that Robbie Brady has returned to first team training and that Alan Browne and Sean Maguire have "also returned to training in some form this week". It is hoped that Troy Parrott will return to action some time in January.
