    Rovers 5-0 Youths yesterday. Impressive Rovers side, very composed on the ball and sharp in the final third. Youths captain had some good flashes but overall they were well outclassed.

    Rovers 0-0 UCD
    Really competitive game. Rovers a bit sluggish in the first half and UCD had the better of it for the most part and wouldn't have been much to argue about if they'd gone in 1-0 at the break. Second half Rovers were much sharper and missed a few decent chances, although UCD still looked dangerous and I thought they were very well organised defensively throughout. Entertaining game and a couple of hundred there to see it.

    Cracking game yesterday. Marc Walsh of Finn Harps, who's heading off to Swansea in the summer, is a truly magnificent player. Lads a special player and will be a future international.
