Gill to team up with Dolan at Rebels?

    from setanta.com

Dublin City boss John Gill has refused to rule out a move to Cork City as Pat Dolan's right-hand man.

The Rebels, who kick off their Setanta Cup campaign on March 28 against Shelbourne at Turner's Cross, are without an assistant manager since Noel O'Connor left for Limerick late last year.

Former Dublin City boss Gill was with Dolan for City's 1-1 draw against Limerick on Sunday, prompting speculation that he may replace O'Connor.

"I would like to get involved in an eircom League side again and I was in Limerick last Sunday to help out Pat Dolan, who is an old friend of mine," the Dubliner explained.

"At this stage, I wouldn't rule anything in, and I also wouldn't rule out anything that includes Cork City, but for now it is a case of wait and see."

Sounds like a bit of a done deal to me. No matter what job he gets I wish him all the best. A gentleman and did wonders at the club two seasons ago.
