On the bench today.
Signs a new contract, takes him to 2020: http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Fe...th-united.aspx
With De Gea, Romero and Pereira in his way, he'll have to keep going out on loan.

At 21, he'll need to be looking at a bigger loan move if he's ever going to be a top level goalkeeper. The likes of Morecambe aren't going to improve him to any great extent. He'll need to look at a Championship club in January, or at least League One, if he's going to make any great strides at all.
He may be at Man United currently, but there's Irish goalkeepers in around the same age as him playing at a higher level of senior football at the minute.

Looking at the United squad, he's actually 5th choice at best, behind Sam Johnstone whose on loan at Villa currently. Agree he needs a lengthy spell at a club where he'd be first choice.

O'Hara saved three penalties in Macclesfield's shoot-out win against Walsall this evening. He also saved one in normal time but the rebound was scored.
That’s a hell of a performance. Penalty takers score about 75% of the time at pro level.
He was actually poor for Walsall's third goal on the night, failing to deal with a cross. They'll forgive him that one.
I actually think, despite a good strike, he probably could have dealt with the first one better too. It was at a good height for any goalkeeper and wasn't exactly out of reach into the corner.
Highlights here.

All guesswork too, he says, no prep on the kickers routines, no nothing, just watch the run up on the night.

Surely would go straight in MONs side with that approach if MON knew of it, his kinda guy.

Whatever works!
He doesn’t look that big in that footage . Never fall in love with a small goal keeper . An old adage .
Over 6'2 according to Wikipedia.
O'Hara won a host of individual awards after helping keep Macclesfield in the football league this season - https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detai...clesfield-town
We look well set for keepers for the foreseeable future. Along with O'Hara, there's Travers, the lad at Liverpool (Kelleher?) and younger still Bazunu.
