How do non-league teams qualify for this?
oh boy I'm not good at football forums
Regional league winners I think. Mayo league are invited after that because Connaught can't get it's act together.

But aren't the MSL and the LSL glorified Cork/Dublin leagues?

There's very little in Leinster outside Dublin. A couple of teams around Wexford and Kilkenny but while they seem to be well able to beat Shamrock Rovers I'm not sure any of them would be up to LSL standard. Bigger issue in LSL is probably the fact Sheriff aren't in it.
What's the alternative? I suppose Munster has that Champions Cup that Abbeyfeale won. Don't know about other equivalents.

It'd be nice if there were province-wide competitions in all four parts of the country but realistically there'd need to be subsidies. Dunboyne and Arklow are there or thereabouts in the second tier but really there's no incentive for the likes of North End United to join.
Harp's V Cockhill called off as mark of respect to the late Ryan McBride
All EA sports cup games off tomorrow.
Galway United v Mayo is on tonight - other matches are on Tuesday of next week.
Does anyone know when the 2nd round is scheduled for?
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"
Monday April 17th.
Celebrating 130 Years of Athlone Town Football Club - Pride of the Midlands Since 1887
Harps 1-1 Cockhill after 73 mins.
Harps win 3-1
Jonny Bonners long range goal worth the admission fee alone tonight. Cracker. Hopefully video will appear online tonight at some point.

Athlone away tonight, can't make it due to work but really not arsed about the result either way. Once we beat athlone 4 times in the league I'm happy.
