Drogs make O’Brien bid


Drogheda United have reportedly made a bid to Shamrock Rovers for the services of highly-rated midfielder Mark O’Brien in a move which could derail Bohemians’ long-standing hopes of landing the 20-year-old star.

O’Brien enjoyed a breakthrough season last term and was included in Don Givens’s Irish under-21 squad for last May’s friendly against Scotland.
