he is a totally incompetent referee who is a narcissistic egomaniac when he takes to the pitch.

The reasons why he has been "overlooked" since have not suddenly changed. He should be put out to pastures permanently, but to re-introduce him in this match in Cork is ridiculous and may add an unnecessary edge to the game. Apart from anything else it opens the door to home town bias accusations (although his nonsensical decisions could go against either team)
