The main difference between the first and second applications on the part of most clubs is that the FAI had a licencing official in place to help the clubs with their appeals. I saw no mention of him in the lead-up to initial applications.Originally Posted by Rams-fan
A lot of clubs failed initially on things which were petty, but if they'd contacted the FAI (or had the contacts there to do so) a lot of clubs would have passed first time without the hassle and negative publicity.
