agreed, have been really impressed with Elliott this season.
Was he not on the bench last night ? Surely he deserves a run out before McGeady ? He has scored more goals.

I think the defence did a top job last night O'Brien for obvious reasons stood out..
I also think O'Shay did a good job he slipped up once or twice but overall it was a performance from him. Given didn't have to do much all match, but when he did he stepped up to the challange especially when he saved Petit’s free kick..

I think keane is the most frustrating player to watch ever in a green jersey, i was discussing this wit the mott last night, she was saying alright he gets the goals but he does fcek all else apart from throw his hands in the hair, holds onto the ball too long, always runs away from goals and does too many stupid flciks.
I know I have to say I do love Robbie Keane but he seems to do nothin but wait around for the ball to land at his feet, Duff does all the hard work and Robbie just waits for the delivery....

AND would it kill him to run for the ball....

Hopefull he'll improve with Reid at Spurs now they might get good practice in..

McGeady should have been brought on much earlier last night

Having read some of the Spurs messageboards its clear that a lot of Spurs supporters are not too happy with Robbie. They too, find his constant bickering to other players really annoying and can't wait to see the back of him. Hopefully Jol and Kerr can get him to cop on as he could be a great playelr.

Reid looks in good shape in the top picture, but a bit podgier in the
second picture here, I think the top picture is the earliest but
    I can't be sure.

Hold on a minute. We beat Portugal in a freindly, lets not get carried away. It was a good performance and the team certainly look good but a few injuries and we're in serious trouble. There's not much strength in depth, especially in central midfield. I remember when we beat Germany and I think Holland pre World Cup 94 and everyone thought we would win it - didn't exactly happen.

Brian Kerr is doing a wonderful job though and it bodes well for the upcoming qualifiers.

The age profile of the team is quite young and if the likes of Duff and Given can steer clear of injuries I think we will all be getting the funds together to head to Germany once again. Hats off to Brian Kerr.
I agree with you almost entirely. Almost. Roy Keane is 33. That’s the problem. He makes this good team a great team. Without him, we are just an average/good team. We do not have anyone who can drive the midfield. Most of the top teams have quality central midfielders. Other than Keane, we have average midfielders and no young players that look like making it as top rate central midfielders.

If only Roy was 25/26, we’d be a certainty to dominate at a major championship in the near future.
