Sligo home first followed by away to Derry and Dundalk tough tough start.
Tough start but the next 3 are more favourable -Bohs and Harps at home and Bray away (albeit they've strengthened slightly). We should be looking at minimum 7-9 points from those first 6 games.
By by the way, is there any info on pre-season games?
Saw on twitter Sligo game possibly being moved due to some poxy 6 nations match in Dublin. *uck the rugby. Time for the league to have a bit of confidence in their own product. It won't bother anyone I know that goes to the markets field.
They beat Cobh in the MSC the other day right? Anyone at it?

When would decision have to be made? I presume there is a strong chance it would join every other match in the Premier on the Friday night.
According to Andrew Cuneen on twitter it's just a case of waiting for FAI approval now before the Sligo fixture is confirmed for the Friday night. Although following Irelands defeat today maybe the rugby won't be as appealing by then.
Munster play in Thomond on the Friday night. If moving from Saturday night, I would have thought we would go to Sunday afternoon rather than the Friday.
I had heard Sunday.
**** that eggchasing ****e. If it's fixed for Saturday, play it on Saturday and all genuine fans will be there.
Yeah, indeed they would, but we need maximum number of fans.
I see the fixture changes have been confirmed on Limerickfc.ie
Opener v Sligo moved to the Friday night at 7:45. Munster match on at 7:35.
Finn Harps moved to 2.00 on the 18th.
What do you think?
Do you think these changes will affect the attendances?
Cheers.
Game vs Cork City also moved due to Munster vs Toulouse in the Heineken Cup Quarter Final. That's a wise one as the match will be a sell out with many from Cork and Limerick at it.
The Harps match would have clashed with Ireland vs England so that was probably wise to move as depending on how results go that could be a championship decider.
The game vs Sligo could potentially have been just put back to 7:30-7:45 kick off as the Ireland Vs France games is on at 4:50pm and would have been over before the Limerick game.
Hard to know how it would affect the attendances to be honest. It's a gamble, but one that probably had to be made.
I think the Munster game will hurt the Sligo attendance significantly. Munster are going great this year and won't have had a game in Thomond for a while. Won't hurt the 700 core but many of the next 1000 might just venture out to the other live sport in the city at the exact same time. 7.45 might see us lose some kids as well. Tough ask for away fans too. Should be 2000 plus....no chance now.
A lot cheaper to take a couple of kids to see Limerick than Munster. Definitely hit the away fans though. Possibly only die hard fans would make the long trip. I do believe a good publicity drive on local media could help. I. Think we'll get between 1500 & 2000.
Munster are going we well but the fact it's against the scarlets should help.
