Praised for his assist for Preston's third.

The Lancashire Evening Post's Preston North End reporter Dave Seddon gives his verdict to Balls.ie on Andy Boyle's start at Deepdale: https://www.balls.ie/football/greg-cunningham-361132

"Boyle has come in and played the last two games. Simon Grayson was reluctant to break up his centre-back partnership, but he's played the last two games. He always said it is easier to throw in a winger, rather than a defender. If Boyle had come in and made a ricket, it could have knocked his confidence, so the manager was just waiting for the right moment. He came in against Derby and was outstanding; I gave him the Man of the Match award in the paper. He kept his place the following week against Reading, and helped to clean sheet against a side in the playoffs.

He's a good player; good on the floor. He's good in the air too... just a good, solid centre-half."

Certainly a talent, but quite raw too. Got booked for an agricultural tackle against Reading. Reading were at sixes and sevens in this game, it will be good to watch him against better forward lines.

Like BATE, AZ Alkmaar and Zenit? I think he fared okay to be honest
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.

Unfortunately for Dundalk, of the back pair, it was Gartland who tended to have a costly mistake or two up his sleeve. Boyle never looked out-of-place.

Looks like he's joining Doncaster on loan after they beat a host of League 1 sides. Grand move for him. He'll be playing in front of Ian Lawlor. Hopefully he pushes back onto Championship next season.

Ryan Delaney had a good game against Millwall for Rochdale in the cup at the weekend, per quotes from their manager (as an aside regarding centre halves with LOI experience moving to League 1 from Championship clubs).
