We're away to Galway on Friday 4th March and away to Sligo on the Sunday (6th March)

We're also playing Distillery and Coleraine - I will post the dates of these when I get them.

We'll probably have one or two more lined up as well

UCD v. Kilkenny, Belfield Park, Saturday 26th Feb, 2:30pm
UCD v. Monaghan, Belfield Park, Saturday 5th March, 2:30pm

Not exactly the highest quality (no offence to Mons and Cats fans, obviously - last year, we had four friendlies v. Premier Division teams and a game with the AUL), but I'm sure Pete knows what he's doing!

Shels beat Kildare away 6-1. Crowe with 2, and he only played a half, as did O'Neil who scored one set up by Crowe. Hoolahan got another, Cawley another and the other was a OG

No offence taken. A lot of managers don't like playing teams in their own division.
Anyway, never read too much into pre-season games: we looked super in pre-season last year but got off to a dreadful start in the league, took us about 10 games to get a win.
Mons friendly with Omagh was called off - don't know why, but it was blowing a gale so probably just as well.
