Why the concern .... its not as if you'll get outta the group like !!!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Anyway, never read too much into pre-season games: we looked super in pre-season last year but got off to a dreadful start in the league, took us about 10 games to get a win.
True - no games against First Division teams last year either. Our only pre-season win last season was against the AUL (lost to Dublin City, Longford and Drogs, drew with Pat's), and look what happened to us!

Now now ... we both know that getting out of your group will be a breeze where as our group, you have to do more than just turn up !! But hey ... that is the luck of the draw. The winner of our group will be the one to win it.

We drew with Newry 3-3 last night.
Bohs were supposed to play them but had to pull out because they don't have enough players to fulfill a fixture

From the drogs mb could be a number of reasons:

    - GAA match

    - Leeds wanted match on saturday, so having it on sun morning was a compromise

    - to prevent drunkan supporters from acting the bo_-ox!!

    all valid reasons imo

Things started off pretty well for I'm in Portlaoise for a meeting on Thursday 3rd, i'll come back via Galway to take that in and Sligo for Sunday. I might even do work on the monday. I just read that Chris and i've obviously had it all wrong cos I thought we had Sligo at FP and Galway away.

    Thats perfect!
