Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Derry 1 - 1 Linfield.
From BBC:
A crowd of around 2,000 are at the Brandywell and there are no reports of any trouble before the game.
Recent signing Brian Cash has a great early chance for Derry after being set up by Gary Beckett but Linfield goalkeeper Greg Shannon makes a fine save.
Killian Brennan is fouled in the box by Linfield's Barry Spence in the 10th minute and Alan Murphy makes no mistake from the spot to put Derry ahead.
Brian Cash has another great chance but he nods a backpost header wide.
Gary Beckett misses another great chance moments later as Derry continue to dominate against a below-strength Blues line-up.
Linfield improve in the 15 minutes before half-time without creating any real chances and Derry lead 1-0 at the interval.
Shea Campbell has Linfield's best chance of the game in the 61st minute but Derry goalkeeper David Forde saves with his legs.
Gary Beckett has a chance for Derry three minutes later but shoots over the bar.
Goalscorer Murphy is denied by Greg Shannon 17 minutes from time.
Linfield level seven minutes from time with Mark Picking hammering in a great shot from 16 yards after Derry fail to clear following a Blues corner.
The match finishes in a 1-1 draw and there appears to be nothing untoward to report off the field despite the security worries before the game.
Sevilla 3 Longford Town 2..Town were 2-0 up with an hour gone but got caught a little for fitness against a strong Sevilla team

6 first teamers featured at some stage as far as im aware. Let's face it, any side Sevilla put out is bound to be decent. All their players were available and full mangement and coaching staff were in charge

We're looking good pre season.Shels see off Swiss in Spain
Friday 25 Feb 2005 --Shelbourne 4 - 1 FC Chiasso
Shelbourne completed their week-long training camp in Marbella Spain, on a high note, running out easy four one winners over FC Chiasso from Switzerland. Earlier in the week, the Irish champions had drawn nil all with local side Marbella.
Glen Crowe and Gary O'Neill were on the mark again - both having scored two weeks ago in the first pre-season game against Kildare County. Jason Byrne, who was a later starter back training because of illness, also opened his account scoring in the second half when he came on as a substitute.
Overall, manager Pat Fenlon was very happy with the weeks work in Spain. He told Shelsweb: " It was great to have all the lads together for a full week, particulary the five new signings we've added. We got through a huge amount of work and it helps to gel the squad together." There's good news on the injury front too with all players reporting a clean bill of health apart from a couple of very minor knocks.
Team: S Williams. O Heary, K Doherty, D Rogers, D Crawley. R Baker, A Cawley, J Crawford, O Cahill, G O'Neill, G Rowe.
Subs at half-time: C Hawkins for Rogers. J Byrne for O'Neill. G Crowe for Rowe. S Byrne for Crawford. B Ryan for Baker.
Scorers: G O'Neill, J Byrne, G Crowe(2)
What division are Chiasso in?
The one below the premier, that everyones favourite side, FC Vaduz, play in. They're fifth, there's a table here. Seems odd for them to goto Spain to play us in a friendly during their season.
Currently fifth in the Swiss second flight with a game in hand on fourth. Ten points behind Vaduz after 17 games!
FC Midtjylland finished 6th last season but are however in 2nd place this season 10 points behind Brondby.
Seville also played in the UEFA Cup midweek so Im not too sure now regular these first team regualrs were? Has anyone got the Seville team line up.
Oh and FC Chaisso also beat FC Vaduz in their second last league game the played
John Delaney!! GET OUT!!!
