There was talk of that a few months ago when he was at our game and was shown around Limerick. Just looking for a story I'd say.
Indo reporting on purported talks for him to get a stake in the club: http://www.msn.com/en-ie/news/other/...ion/ar-AAkYDFf
Seems like a bit of a reach, but nice to see the club's underage/social programmes get some limelight.

Limerick Life (the free newspaper that gets pushed through the letterbox) has a front page bit about both Essien and some Wexford businessman getting involved in a stake, and also a bit later about O'Sullivan saying he isn't selling any stake in the club at all.
At least two "club people" involved in that free sheet afaik.
Fairly daft rubbish but it's the way pat o sullivan chooses to run the club.
Most clubs take this time of year to assemble a squad for the coming season. Instead we make up stories about Michael essien, or training centres, or Barcelona friendlies, or Kevin kilbane, hire invisible ceos, German ambassadors, colonel mustard, in the study, with the candlestick, or try to buy players off the ukranian mafia. Absolutely anything besides what's supposed to be going on basically.

Just to clarify I don't necessarily mean "club people" in a derogatory sense I just couldn't think of a better term.
Anyway any news on the Greg Bolger signing?
So a paper that has one club member involved at least runs a story that then has another club member deny it. I mean I am sure there is some kind of reason for em doing it but I really don't see it.
Oh sweet jesus.
