    New financial officer

Cork City have appointed a new financial officer. Greg Canty is a qualified accountant and replaces John Flynn who left the end of the club at the end of last season.

So apart from the fact that the club is going down the tubes, and all the rats are deserting the sinking ship, and Dolan is leaving for limerick because Brian Lennox is fighting with everyone...............etc.........etc

City have filled the first of the vacancies at the club, and no doubt the others will be filled in time. Interesting to see what the doom-sayers have to say?

I think people were just concerned with the lack of information coming from the club with regard to all the voids still to be filled.
It ain't the end of the world but apart from being drip fed the odd bit of news, the club is still poor on the information front.
Nothing a pre season Fans Forum wouldn't solve.

Hopefully indeed, but the SC will be even stronger the more ppl join and take part. So the opportunity to have your say is open to all.
Remember you can join up on the night of the first CCOSC AGM, saturday week.

All Cork City fans will be made welcome.

I seem to remember that name and it wasn't very far removed from the role either. About 5-6 years ago at a guess ??

    Anyone remember this ??
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

I think you may be thinking of Greg Cantillon perhaps???

If Im not mistaken he had some sort of full time role about 4 years ago. He came from Musgraves, but wasn't with the club long.

Greg was involved with Nash Beverages for a while before he started getting involved with catwalks the fashion shows.
