Apparently according to the Cork forum the draws been made and we're not in it. Waterford didn't enter either so it looks like a Cork City Vs. Whichever non-league team knocks Cobh out final
Anybody know if the new admin have any thoughts on getting us involved in this again? Anybody have any thoughts themselves? I know it could mean an extra 3-4 games a year but it might be nice to be in with a chance of winning something once in a while (in fact with our recent record against Cork we'd probably start as favourites! ) and I presume that there's some type of prize money too?
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Yeah, I was wondering more about next year. Especially with an U-21 side, it might be useful for blooding players?

I very much doubt it. I don't think it's even sponsored this year.Originally Posted by sadloserkid

I think the comp should be restructured totally. Just for example four EL teams and four others (eg, Douglas Hall, Fairview, Rockmount, Johnville)picked to go to say cork over 4/5 days before the season to play off in a round robin or basic knockout comp. Be great for fans, good for a sponsor and good preseason.
Following season, Limerick, waterford..take it around the provence.

You mean the side that, despite last years collapse, won the League Cup recently and finished in a playoff position more recently than you lot?Originally Posted by ramblers05
