    Limerick V Cork City

Any details on this lads, kick off time etc? Is it supposed to be on next Sunday (13th) at Rathbane?

On a side note, not too crazy on the idea of parking the car near the ground to be honest. I presume we'll have to enter through the bronx entrance?!

Parking in Rathbane outside a house was normally fine - wouldn't park outside the ground though. Worth the 5 minutes walk for peace of mind with the car.

when the crowds went down all the cars were allowed into the ground.

The latest anyway is that the game is on in the UL on Sunday afternoon and not Rathbane. For future reference the Tesco car park on the Roxboro road might be a slightly safer alternative for parking. I wouldn't park an old bicycle in Hogan Park if the set up is going to be the same as before

I've heard it's looking a lot worse now (the area around it) than it was before, which is some achievement! UL sounds good for Sunday though.

Did I hear 'Park & Ride' to the ground being mentioned around the time of the press conference?

Rathbane always got rotten press. I pretty much attedned all home games there from 83-94 and never had a car problem or heard of anyone done in the Rathane estate (it is much more settled and quieter than the Southill side. Cars were definitely done quite often just outside the ground.

Just looked at the list of approved pre-season friendlies and there is no sign of the Limerick v. Cork City match. What's the story?

the plan will be to use the car park at roxboro shopping centre thinks its tesco (it will have security !!) and to run a shuttle bus to the ground this i cant see working you would have walked to the pitch by the time you loaded up a bus drove down and loaded it off again .

no cars can be parked in the ground ( not sure if this applies to players )

Hi LFC in Exile : I Heard from Gael it could be on in UL at 3pm. No one in the CLub has contacted me in over a week so I have not rang anyone to find out.

Back to Work today after a brief sojurn in Rome Checking out some decent serie A players. Well we have to sign someone . I Was thinking of a Player swap We will give Somebody, Anybody CP and take nobody in return. Fair deal do ya think?

Seems a little harsh but why not!
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Should have kept my mouth shut here having not lived in Limerick for many years.

Rathbane was fine in the 80's as I said however apparently some new residents are causing a lot of bother and some houses are boarded up and it is no longer a safe place to park a car.
