    Gavin Molloy D Aberdeen b.2001

Does he deserve a thread? I don't know, but he's getting one anyway.

Another one of our very many defensive prospects. Recently moved from Shelbourne to Aberdeen, played the full 90 mins yesterday in a 3-0 away league cup win v Queen of the South. A very handy introduction to life over there, they play another 3 games in the cup v lower league opposition before the SPL kicks off. Great opportunity for him to settle in quickly and do well.

Another 90 in a 4-0 League Cup win yesterday. Only v a non league side, but promising that he's played every minute. Jamie McGrath scored a nice goal too!

Aberdeen seem to have a relatively handy start to the season, on top of winning everything in pre season, a grand opportunity for himself and Jamie McGrath (who scored at the the other end) to get a good run of form before the international window. Far too early for Gav, but promising for Jamie to start the season well. I hope he's finally found a place he's happy and playing regularly.

First SPL clean sheet today. Has played every minute and won every match Aberdeen have played since signing. 5 Cup and 3 in the League. Aberdeen also playing a League 2 team in the Lg Cup 1/4 final.

Couldn't have asked for a better start to life over there really.

Fans seem happy. Has adapted quickly, although there have been instances of this occurring swiftly before e.g. Conor McCarthy, Jamie McGrath, Dan Casey (via Sacramento), Liam Scales but there have been lads that have not adapted too.

Their run of fixtures has definitely helped, sometimes things just fall nicely for a player

Played another 90 mins today in a 2-1 win. Hasn't even drawn a match since signing. 12 wins this season. 6 league, 6 cup. Molloy and Jamie McGrath starting every one. Play Hearts who are really struggling next before the international break. Then they have to play Celtic twice and Rangers in quick succession, will be interesting to see how they fare.

Is he another centre half? He'd be worth a good look ASAP if he's a left back anyway!

He's a centre back. They're always centre backs...
