    5 Year Plan

So the club have released there 5 year strategy....

    http://braywanderersfc.ie/bray-wande...lan-2017-2021/

Some good parts - youth development centre, working with local community and partners etc etc

Moving from the Carlisle???? 20acre site? 4,500 seated stadium?

Firstly, the last thing any Bray fan wants is to leave the Carlisle, location wise it is the best you can dream off! Why not redevelop the stadium here and have a training centre on the outskirts of Bray... 4,500 seated stadium is too small in my view unless they have room to expand, they really should be looking at a 8-9000 seater if the plan is to play in Europe...

Will be interesting to hear what comes of this and the backlash from fans!!!!

You'd never fit a 4,500 capacity ground on the site of the Carlisle surely?

    Certainly not twice that.

I would have thought it's a choice between the two (Carlisle Grounds or 4,500 capacity ground)?

If you moved the pitch slightly you could easily fit 2x3000 seated stands each side plus 1500 seated stands behind the goals.... Simple!! hahaha!

the away side, when fully seated held over 2500 - with lots of room behind.

    Is there?

The only bit of room seems to be behind the training pitch end (or whatever it is); the other three sides always seemed very close to the road.

Does the DART side really hold 2,500? (Or did it hold that with all seats)

There's not a hope there was 2,500 seats on that side, no more than 1,500 or 1,600. You'd fit a 6,000 seater ground in there at a push, but to go any higher than that, you'd need tiered stands.

Are Bray fans be worried that once the property deal is done the club might be dropped and end up out of town with no further investment?

Unfortunately for Bray to grow and improve and really challenge they need to build new stadium and current ground wouldn't work to meet UEFA categories etc even if developed
Shame as its in a great location in bray but like lots of English clubs you have to move out of town centres to grow

That only works if you have established a growing fan base.

Bray's gate receipt for 2016 were less than €100k all in

100% worried. Nobody thinks the O'Connors are in Bray for the love of football. It's all about them getting their greasy hands on the Carlisle and if they achieve that, they'll abandon the club like lightning. Lest we forget, this is who we're expected to trust http://www.irishtimes.com/sport/socc...owry-1.2295040

Mulvey was also involved with pats. his friends will say he's a true football man but his idea for Pats was to move in with Rovers in Tallaght and sell Richmond

Really worried. The whole Fingal thing really is an eye opener. Seems very similar.

    Hope I'm wrong.
