    [QUOTE

SC mentioned it at the Trust meeting last Thursday, also heard he wants the shed re-opened for start of season[/QUOTE]
I think one of the first things that the Trust should get it's teeth into, is the re-opening of the shed. It would be a good test to see if the MC will take on board the fans wishes. The team needs the shed to get behind them. Last season was dead. No sound. No atmosphere. So lead the way and we'll see what the MC will do.

Vertical stripes - something similar to the strip we had under DOR for three seasons?? Can this be the one?? The away strip sounds very much like last season's home kit??

Heard a story from one of the players that the strip is being held up because JAKO - the kit sponsor is also sponsoring the kit for Drogheda and there're presently working on that kit and Rovers have to wait in line. Also heard that the Drogheda crest is embroidered on where our crest is only a sticker.

if that's true then it's pretty annoying - the sticker crest coming off is the problem with my current jersey. just thought it was dodgy JAKO quality issues - presumed they didn't have the set-up, manufacturing issues etc - But if they are embroidering the Drogs crest then that's shabby...unless we are paying less for ours... ??

I don't think it's a simple of case of us paying less, it's a sponsorship deal after all. In my opinion it's just a case of it being just Sligo Rovers and anything will do them.

Should have clarified that - I meant us [the supporters] paying less for our jerseys then the Drogs fans - i.e. the Rovers jersey has a lower recommended retail price than the Drogs jersey. Anyway, doesn't matter cause I'll probably buy it anyway.

Anyone know when it'll be on sale and when we can have a look at it??
