Here on a technicality.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
Hes a nice guy. Hes not very good at football. He wants to be a great player, and he basically lives in the gym but the ability isn't there.
You may be right but he did appear to have enough ability to get Airtricity League Player of the Month not that long ago. https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/soc...onth-1.2424656
As I said in the Limerick forum, he's a decent crosser and freekick taker, but is too timid and doesn't actually work that many opportunities to cross. In a dominant team that are in full flow, he looks good, but there's no fight in him, and he's not even close to being as good as Conan Byrne. He can only play right wing and I don't really know why you signed him.
He, Turner, has something about him on his good days, as mentioned he shone bright in our almost Houdini moment, doing enough to have Cork come and get him so there is something there. Trouble is it's not there anywhere near often enough.
McElenhey winning it in the month that Seani scored a hatrick against Dundalk (a game McElenhey went missing in) is nonsensical to me. But I'll admit I'm biased!
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
We have different definitions of clear and obvious. They both had great months, and in the game they both played in, one was clearly superior.
I'm not saying it was a run away win for Seani, but the idea that it was obviously McElenhey is nuts.
The Dublin media shot Michael Collins, you really think they'd give player of the month to a Corkman?
Turner does have ability, can be fantastic with a superb delivery, but mentally seems to drift. He will be much more suited to Pats' football than to the muck we have unfortunately adopted. Buckley's style might be better at bringing his ability out as well.
