With so much speculation about which players have signed, re-signed or which are about to, it's hard to keep track of who's in the squad at the moment. Does anyone have a current up-to-date list of players who have DEFINITELY signed for the club?![]()

There's always Limerick 37!

Odd, where are the Bobby Ryans and Adrian Mutus that were being touted to us in the wake of Mike's hounding out of the club, sorry I do mean he's totally justified sacking. Well I suppose The Best Manager In The Eircom League can get us that Premier title with whatever talent he's given.
On a sidenote where have all the Wille Joe's, JoeSoaps and the like gone now their messiah has returned to the fold?

I thinks in the case of Mutu they had trouble with the final negotiations trying to find a room big enough to accomidate his and O'Connors egos so alas Juventus came in at the last minute and hijacked the deal
Seriously tho need 4 or 5 more because whats on paper at the minute wont really set the first division alight
If whats on paper at the moment is just the 11 mentioned by gael353 above we need more than just 4 or 5!Originally Posted by Lim till i die

and the ones i listed lads are names ive heard from junior club players whom i work with, there is nothing concrete or anything. Its all very quite i cant wait for some action both on and off the pitch.
Can anyone tell me if Kevin McCarthy ever played LEAgue of IRELAND
Ya he definitely played upfront with Limerick for awhile under Bill Kinnane i'd say. Class striker. He always reminded me of a 70's player in England in looks a bit like Kevin Keegan![]()

He definitely did. I remember him playing. I think it was only one season - but maybe two at the outside. I don't remember him being anything special at eL level. A good player - though he wasn't brilliant or anything.Originally Posted by barryk

he had a left peg but played down the right. we played a 4-5-1 system that year (1994) our last in the prem and he helped us reach the Semi final of the cup, also scored the winner (a breakaway solo effort in our last game of the season in rathbane against Dundalk. alas the players were annoyed at something over moneys and in the last game which they needed points they voted not to perform and thus lost 2 nil to Monaghan away which resulted in our 11 year exile from top flight football. Kevin didnt like the travelling and returned to fairview to win loads of trophies.
I don't think we'll do it the first year, but I reckon we'll get close. I would hope that we'll be back in the Premier for the 2007 season though. If we don't go up in the next couple of seasons the doom and gloom merchants will be out!Originally Posted by poacher
