Drink or no drink, I'd bet on him being stripped of the captaincy by the end of the season anyway.
Hughes will drop him, but he will remain "club captain," as Barry captains the side in the meantime.
Eventually Dunne will want a bigger role and ask to move in January, and Barry will be named permanent captain.
Maybe Shay will be captain. He's been Given it good after all.

I would assume Dunne would not want it but be surprised if Moyes wouldn't want Dunne.

As I wrote, people report what they see and other people add their take on it. Somebody else sees him slowly sipping a shandy and next you know he is supposed to be drying out in some clinic.

I thought he looked out of sorts on Wednesday. I think you need the backs to the wall stuff in a competitive game to see the best of Richard. I expect to see a much improved performance from him and the rest of the team in Cyprus.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
