I agree that his amount of sending offs is down to the way the Man City defense is exposed.
There are so many times during a game when it's 3 attackers vs 3 man city defenders, or 2 on 2.
That situation always favours the attackers, and Dunne is not the kind of player to let a player past him.
With Trapattoni's defensive system, these sort of situations are a lot more rare.
This means we won't necessarily create as many opportunities as Man City, but we won't allow near the amount of counter-attacks they do, thus allowing Dunne to be more comfortable with his duties.
